Alumasa, Aluminios del Maestre, S.A., cares for the environment. The coil coating industry produces liquid and gaseous waste as a consequence of the production process.

For this reason Alumasa, Aluminios del Maestre, S.A., has a water depuration system that meets the European most rigorous regulations on industrial waste.

We have contracted an exterior company to remove and treat the residual mud. To treat the fumes and gaseous waste we have a modern incinerator equipped with a heat exchanger. Two goals are met: treatment of the industrial fumes and the heat is recycled in the polymerisation ovens.

This way we save on energy. Our constant concern is to use environment friendly products. For instance, we have changed the chrome, a highly contaminant product that is used to treat aluminium to improve paint adherence, for a non-rinse phosphate based product.
